Today was a great relaxing day with the family. We played at home, went to Mimi's to take care of her dogs while she is out of town and went to rent some movies. We are home bodies and enjoyed the oppurtunity to be at home with our kiddos.
We went to the "movie store" (as
Calista calls it). We take her often and she
loves to pick out her own movie,
get a slushy and this time she got a ring pop which she so nicely shared with her sister.
Jeff always makes

Caitlyn is starting to push up. She will 5 months old on the 9

Okay here is the scoop on the picture above. My sweet (but strong willed)
Calista decided a while back she hates water in her face. This means no water gun fights, sprinklers or even accidentally getting water in her face in the bath or she starts crying. (
Carsyn is the complete opposite and loves to pour water on her own face.... go figure). The other day it was raining. I love summer rain. We were all standing at the door watching it.
Calista started to get in a mood and to be funny I decided to start running through the rain. Well,
Calista thought this was hilarious and followed me along with
Carsyn. We slid down the slide, danced and stuck out our tongues to taste the rain (i know...a little gross). Jeff and I were shocked
Calista did this since she hates water in her face. Well, ever since that day she has been completely different about water. In fact, she now likes to take showers. So the picture above is what
occurs at night before bed time now. Her and
Carsyn showering...... too cute. So I guess if you know any child who is afraid of water just have them dance in the rain. Seems to cure the problem....
