Happy 235th Birthday America

We spent the afternoon with our friend Wayne and his son Carter(who is 4). We had a great time swimming and eating great food. Then Jeff and I decided to take the girls out to see the fireworks this year. They didn't start until 9:45 and my girls are not use to staying up that late. They did great though. We found a great spot and enjoyed the show. They all loved the fireworks. Being that I am an American history teacher a part of me wanted to teach them everything there is to know about why this day is so important but I gave them the short version. Maybe in a couple of years they will listen better. :)
